The Half Marathon will have same first 3 miles as the 5K & 10K. On Alicia Parkway the half marathon will continue down to Aliso & Woods Canyon Park then enter the Aliso Creek Trail and back to LH Community Center.
The Half Marathon welcomes runners and walkers that are able to finish the course within a 4.0 hour time limit, requiring a minimum pace of 16 minutes per mile. The course will begin to break down at 10:30 am and the finish line will begin to break down at 11:00 am.
Half Marathon finishers after 11:00 am will still receive their finishers award and have their time recorded until 1 pm.
Water stations will be located at approx. 1.5, 3.3, 5.3, 6.8, 8.7, 9.8 10.5, 12.3 mile points on the course. Electrolyte solution will be available at 6.8, 8.7, 10.5 and 12.3 miles. Between miles 7-8 the half marathon course will have a 0.7 mile section of hard pack dirt trail.
Strollers are not recommended. No dogs allowed on the course.
Laguna Hills 10K
The 10K will travel the same first 3 miles as the 5K but once the race turns onto Alicia Parkway it will continue to Moulten Parkway and transition to the Aliso Creek Bike trail for an out-and-back section before returning to the Laguna Hills Community Center
All participants should park at the start line as there are no pre-race shuttles from the finish line up to the start line.

5K Run/Walk will travel through Laguna Woods Village and finish at the Laguna Hills Community Center
Laguna Hills Kids Run
The Laguna Hills Kids Run is a ½ mile course that starts on the Community Center field (next to the Kids Zone*)and finishes at the main event Finish Arch. This fun run is great for children 4-11 years old and is not timed.
The Kids Run starts at 9:30 AM with children being sent out in waves every 3-5 minutes.
Wave 1: 10-11 years old
Wave 2: 8-9 years old
Wave 3: 6-7 years old
Wave 4: 4-5 years old
The Diaper Dash is the final wave and is for children 3 and under. This course is 100 yards and finishes on the baseball field.
Parents may accompany children on the course but will not receive a medal.
*The Kids Zone will be open during the expo! We have games and crafts for children who are participating in the Kids Run or just hanging out with their families at the race.Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian while in the Kids Zone.

Medals
All 5K,10K & Virtual finishers receive an event medal. Virtual medals will be mailed. In-person participants will receive their medal at the finish line.

Age Division Awards
Overall and Top-3 in Age Group Division Awards will be awarded at the main stage at the finish line after their event. Awards for the 5K will begin at 8 am, 10K awards at 9 am, Half Marathon awards at 10 am. Award cerimony times are approximate.
